His passion for cooking was shaped by watching his mom grill at family gatherings. In 2016, he attended an SMP workshop and fell in love with the passion for preparing food, as well as the variety of techniques and recipes. By 2021, after several years of learning from talented individuals, he became an SMP Grill Master and began teaching his own SMP workshops. For him, it’s all about sharing the experience with the people you love the most.


His arrival to the SMP was because he had a taste for the grill since he was a little boy. When he was 14 years old he was given a Big Green Egg and from there he began to investigate and experiment more with new proteins and cooking techniques, when he turned 15 he went to cook at one of his uncle's house and he had a RUB ROJO and a Smoked Salt from SMP, he loved the flavor that the smoked salt gave to the meat, it was something he had never tried, then he asked him where he had bought it, he recommended the SMP store.

In the first opportunity he had, he went buy a salt and rubs, the store manager at the time, told him that there were grill workshops, which caught his attention and decided to enroll, he went that weekend to the workshop, which was a Meat Lovers, given by Beto Villarreal, he was impressed because he found a place where there were more people who were passionate about the same as him, where he could learn new things and above all where he could be himself, he said: “This is for me” and kept going to all the workshops he was able to attend, until he reached the point of total excitement that his arrival was always two hours before the start of each workshop to set up tables and ingredients, until he met Alejandro and he told him: - ‘Tell your parents not to pay for workshops anymore and come help us’. From that moment on, he felt that he began to be part of this incredible organization that inspires so many people to continue creating bonds and uniting people of all ages in any part of the world through memorable gastronomic experiences around the fire.


“Since fire was discovered by the ancient civilizations of Homo sapiens, people and entire families have gathered around the fire, to share stories, to share a meal, to shelter from the cold, etc... But some kind of bond is always generated around the fire, nowadays we get together with our friends and family to make a carne asada or a bonfire, in which bonds are generated, stories are shared and memories are generated, for me that means #FIREUNITESUS, sharing with the people you love the most around the fire.”
